The Finnish trade union UNIO joins the NFU family

The NFU family grows as UNIO, the Finish Union representing financial sector employees in Nordea Bank, joins as a new member union.
In an extraordinary vote, the union council – the highest decisionmaking body of the NFU- decided to approve UNIOs’ membership application. UNIO was established in 2018 and is a merger of The Kela Employees’ Association (KTH) and the Trade Union Nousu in Finland.
Minna Ahtiainen will represent UNIO in the NFU management board.
With this latest addition, NFU represents eight member unions from five different countries.
