Shape NFUs work – suggest activities!
NFU is currently in the process of drafting the new Work Plan for the activity period 2011-2012. The plan is to be adopted at the NFU Union Council in October 2010.
If YOU have any ideas of your own as to what NFU should be working with – please send us your input! Our aim is to include the wider NFU family in the process, to get as much inspiration as possible from as many as possible. So, please e-mail or phone us with your ideas. Yesterday, in a pivotal decision, the European Parliament approved the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), advancing corporate accountability for human rights and environmental impacts. NFU views this directive as an important step forward, albeit a compromised one.
