NFU plans lobbying with member organisations
If we really want to get the employee perspective heard in the EU, we need to both to lobby in Brussels and influence our own Nordic governments. With this in mind, NFU organized a series of roundtable meetings with all member unions to coordinate our lobbying. The last two meetings have now been held in Helsinki and Copenhagen.
The meetings gathered a mix of people from companies and unions’ secretariat to discuss relevant EU regulation. We focused on what impact the proposed regulation could have on every day work life, and how we think that the regulation should be changed to ensure a better functioning finance sector. The in-depth discussions are of great value as input to the NFU amendments to EU regulation now and in future.
