Today is ”Nordens dag”, a day to highlight and celebrate the cooperation between the Nordic countries. The cooperation between the Nordic countries and actors within it is strong and has a long history. The Nordic Council of Ministers is an important actor in this cooperation with its vision to make the Nordic region into the most sustainable and integrated region in the world.

This year, “Nordens dag” is special for NFU as the organisation this year celebrates its 100 years anniversary. One hundred years ago a group of bank employees met in Stockholm in a first attempt to create a formalised cooperation between finance employees in the Nordics. NFU will celebrate this anniversary with a conference in Helsinki in June as well as producing an anniversary book that will tell the story of NFU. The book will be presented at the conference.
