New project on the effects of EU regulation on employment
The social partners of the European Sectorial Social Dialogue of the banking sector have launched a project to map the effects of EU regulation on employment.
The purpose is to investigate how European regulation has influenced and is influencing the development of employment in the banking sector in EU28. This will be done by mapping the change in several indicators, such as total number of employees in the sector, gender representation, pay structures, number of redundancies, outsourcing as-well as indications on which functions that have disappeared or appeared, since 2007.
The project will run for a year and be disseminated at a conference in April 2018.
