The future world of work in focus

Digitalisation was on the agenda when UNI Europa Finance arranged a one-day meeting in Nyon on 22 November. The discussions and presentations focused on the future world of work, Fintech and Blockchain technology.

Michael Budolfsen, the President of NFU and UNI Europa Finance, said in his opening speech that digital solutions always must serve the people and never the opposite. This to help to improve social standards and working conditions.

The FSU Denmark’s project Copenhagen Fintech lab was highlighted at the meeting as an example of how unions can work to stay relevant also in the future world of work. The Copenhagen Fintech lab is a joint initiative by FSU Denmark, banks and legislators to create a co-working space dedicated to Fintechs. The Lab is located at the office of FSU-DK and creates an opportunity for the union to monitor the development in the sector as-well as connect and communicate with Fintech entrepreneurs.
